in BG:EE Bugs (v1.2)
Does not properly trigger after a brand-new install. I had to download the old override fix from these forums to get it to trigger. This has been mentioned on the bug thread but does not appear in the bug list; it has also been mentioned in the v1.3 beta thread.

Running Win 7 64 bit

    I don't have any problems with this, nor in the release nor beta version.
    You need 100+ GP, and talking to him with your PC or Imoen.

    You don't have Imoen yet. This is in the beginning, in Candlekeep. You must be thinking of the SECOND quest. This is the first one, where you have to retrieve a scroll from Tethtoril or whatever his name is - a scholar wandering around the keep.

    Still I have no problems in both versions, just tried in the release version and it does not happen in the beta.
    Also, nothing was specified about which quest it is, so don't blame me for making mistakes.

    I can't reproduce it on the current live version or the beta. Are you following these steps:

    1. Talk to Firebead
    2. Talk to Tethtoril (he will give you the scroll)
    3. Talk to Firebead

    If so, which part isn't working for you?
