Dreams broken! Which character gets the spell from them?

So me and my brother started up a game of BG:EE and when we rested after getting to Nashkel the Dream glitched out! =O So I read that a valid work around would be to save just before going to Nashkel, then having all other players besides the host leave the game. Then trigger the beginning of the chapter and rest, save the game and invite them back. (Playing on Steam btw)

Also who will get the spell from the dream if it does actually successfully happen?

    Gorion's ward. It doesn't matter if the entire party was player created, it's always the one that seems like the main character.

    So the character in the top left box when creating the party?

    Yes. Although I'm not sure if it's possible to change that character partway through the game.

    @Awong124 awesome yeah we restarted cause honestly those extra heals early on help
