Why does the Greater Werewolf keep disappearing? Does he just get tired of fighting me and zap out?

    Yep. I'm going to play it again now. Maybe I take too long to kill it.

    Just before you leave? Or the one in Baldurans Shipwreck?

    The one in the shipwreck. I finally killed it but it was the most difficult battle in the game and not much fun.

    Yea the greater wolfwere there can be quite difficult. Using a slow spell on it helps a lot. You also want to have silver weapons against him otherwise your weapons won't work. Potions of firebreath also can be very effectively used against him.

    Thanks for the help. I used slow, paralyze and the silver dagger - that fight was incredible and frustrating, but I didn't give up.
