in Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition
Well, i was wondering. A thief gets the USE ANY ITEM ability, when high enough level. Say, IF he is not a simple thief, but a multiclass, Gnome, thief/illusionist, does this skill make you bypass the school's (specialization) limitation? Can you use necromancy scrolls, either in item quickslot, or for scribing? Or better yet, both?

    As far as I know, school limitations still apply.

    They can use the scroll, but they cannot scribe/memeorize it. I just checked. Jan cast horrid wilting.

    I don't think you can get UAI in BGEE.

    My object of question was actually cross-EE. Not only for 1... Sorry for failing to mention.
