Can Dorn be Redeemed?

in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition
Or can his alignment change at all. I haven't completed Dorn's Quest at all, so please don't give me any spoilers towards HOW I could redeem him (if I can) or of the storyline.
I just wandered, since his desc. states "Does he stand on the brink of redemption?......"

    I wondered this myself at one point it did seem like his story might have been setting such an event up

    Awh, I was really hoping to redeem Dorn.
    Oh well, my CN Dragon Disciple will like Dorn whether he is Evil or not.
