Touch control iPad Air

I just bought this game for the iPad since i liked the PC version.

What i noticed is that i have to press and hold before menu options respond. In other apps a slight touch is enough but with this game i have to press quite hard before menu buttons respond.
Is there any setting i might be overlooking?

    It seems to work normally after i closed and restarted the app.
