Suggestion for SCS Smarter Mages

I was wondering if they could adapt the Smarter Mages to have the option "smarter targeting only".
I don't want Tolgerias summoning demons or whatsoever, in fact I think his original file has pretty good spells for any fight , like most mages in the game.
However, improving their targeting only ( disabling fighters, dispelling mages ...) would make them a lot smarter and still fun to fight against.

I like to have BG I + II a little more challenging, but not that much that I need to know the perfect counters/ combinations for every encounter. And I love it when NPCs react more clever (using the equipment, potions, spells, etc. in a more realistic way)
