No Whirlwind for Blade?

in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition
So I was considering that my swashbuckler has Whirlwind Attack and wasn't sure if a Blade would get it too.

Research says no but I was wondering if it was something that got changed recently perhaps?
