Need help with Hexxat Dragomir's Tomb quest

in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition
I'm currently in Dragomir's Tomb. I've reached the point where I come across the purplish block which won't let my party through. I've seen a play through video where the creator made Hexxat walk through it on her own, but in my game she gets teleported back as well or on the few times she gets through the purple wall does not disappear and the cutscene doesn't start. Am I missing something? Thanks!
