New Buttons in UI?

I am new to this game, but I have played BGEE and BG2. I don't recall seeing the buttons in the attached screen shot, and I can't figure out what they do. Lil help? :)

    That's the Quick Loot bar. When there's loot on the ground, it'll show up in that bar and you can click on it to have a character pick it up. The red diamond is for toggling it on or off.
