My Dwarf looks invisible?

Hey all, I just arrived in Dorn's Deep and I've come to realize that the Dwarven Defender in my party seems to be a little... invisible. I checked his equipment and his character sheet but I can't seem to figure out why. Is this a bug, or am I missing something? I attached a picture, he'd the one at the front in the red circle, and I attached a picture of his equipment screen too, not sure if that'll help or not.imageimage

    Try moving him to the back. See if that changes things

    I was hoping for a mod that removes the plate's shady effect as well as the shimmering sash's blur effects.

    Hurts me eyes not being able to see the pretty colors in full!

    I'm sure someone clever can mod the item for you - I imagine it's just an effect and is an easy fix.
