Valygar Romance

I notice every time I take Valygar with me in the party that his dialogues with the PC & in general are of the sort that fit with the Bioware romance pattern, I'm aware that the intention was there for a romance implementation with him and that Dave Gaider was working on a semi-official release with one of the Attic's original members but it didn't see the light of day. Has anyone else ever implemented it or is there any intention to restore it in an official release / update?

    I believe the Romantic Encounters mod for BGII added a bit of romance for Valygar, but I don’t think that the one you are referring to got released. I would love to hear that I am wrong.
