How to activate sunray with daystar sword on ipad bg2 ?

in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition
I have the daystar and can't figure out how to activate the sunray. Is it in the abilities panel, double click the icon ? Can't figure this one out, any help would be appreciated.

    Tap on the "use item" menu at the bottom of the screen. It looks like a backpack.
