Protection from Normal Missiles

in Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition
I know that elemental missiles such as fire arrows or bolts of lightning bypass stoneskin, but what about PfNM?
Do bolts of biting, acid arrows, fire arrows etc pass through PfNM, or only those marked as +1/+2 ?

    Somebody can correct me if I am wrong, but I don't think PfNM protects against elemental arrows.

    I say that because I recall seeing BG2 Tweaks offering a component that makes elemental missiles count as normal missiles.

    SCS offers that tweak, but yes otherwise elemental arrows bypass PfNM

    What about bolts/arrows of biting? Does PfNM protects against them or not? Also if under stoneskin, can the secondary effect can be applied if the target fails the saving throw?
