Cambion?

in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition
Is it possible to actually defeat the cambion? Nothing I have seems to affect it. Spells all bounce off, and none of our weapons work, not even the +1 longsword.

    The one in the first dungeon? You have to turn off its shield/cage first. Try investigating the big machine in the same room.
