What is the easiest way to edit in-game dialog?

I have OCD, so whenever I see something like a typo, I want to fix it. Also sometimes I'd like to slightly re-word a dialog response to be more like "what my character would say". To my understanding, there are multiple tools/methods of doing this. But what is the best/easiest/most user-friendly tool or technique to use to accomplish this?
