New to Mods help

in IWD:EE Mods
Im new to mods but not to IWD im wondering what people consider essential mods and what most people reccomend. I personally like quest and story copntent over new items as i dont want to break the game.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

    For Icewind Dale? Very few are actually essential. If you wish for NPC interaction there's the NPC mod, and if I heard that SCS works with it. But I think that the game is pretty much balanced and requires little modding.
