Rescuing Guello quest

in Icewind Dale: Enhanced Edition
How do you complete the rescue Guello quest?. I've cleared the mine area and spoke to Guello. I've now gone back to Beorn who said thanks, but there was no experience and "Rescuing Guello" is still showing as an active quest

    Yep. AFAIK that quest has always been that way. I've never had it solved properly either. Shame.

    I remember having trouble with this one, but I just checked my final save and it's in Done Quests. Heck if I remember what I did to finish it though.

    Sorted. Hadn't noticed that Guello had made his way back to the village (standing near Beorn) and its him you need to speak to not Beorn

    Yeah, that was it. It took him a while to get back there, too. I had to keep checking back.
