Rasaad gone forever?

in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition
I tried to search for answers about this but couldn't find anything. When I first encountered Rasaad in Trademeet, I said something mean or that he didn't agree with because I'm playing an evil party and didn't think I would need him this playthrough. He walked off (I don't remember exactly what was said). Now I learn that part of the Wild Mage camp quests overlap with Rasaad's quest. Is there any way to get him back now or is he gone forever if you say the wrong thing? Thanks in advance

    I do not believe there is a way to get him back but I am not sure.
    However this particular Neera subquest does not matter at all in the eventual outcome.
