Importing from black pits?

in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition
As I just finished BGEE and going through the black pits i was wondering if once i'm done with it i can import to BG2EE my char with the transferable items (as I don't see them in the pits...)?

    If you transfer to the Black Pits, your gear is all removed.

    If you transfer out of the Black Pits, whatever gear your exported character has will be transferred with them and any compatible transfer gear will be stored as normal, and if you don't have an item then the standard loot item will be included by default.

    You will not keep the Pantaloons.
