HELP - Need way to continue Rasaad's quest

in Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition
So, I'm stuck in Rasaad's quest. I got to the bit where I talked to the thief to go to where the monks are, but the teleport didn't work, and we both just stayed in the Inn. When I realized this happened, I went back to the Inn, talked to the thief again, he told me he gave me a key, then left. I do not have said key. So now, I'm stuck in front of the entrance to Rasaad's quest, keyless, with no way in and no way to continue to quest. I need to find a way to continue the quest, most likely through the console. Does anyone know the area code for the area I need to get to, or the item code for the key I need?

    While we are on the subject, does anybody know the console command to make the quest scroll appear in Rassad's possession? I'm stuck too.
