Beamdog Client Download Problems

The download rate on the Beamdog client is horrible. It will fluctuate between 1KB/s and 1.5MB/s. Normally, I get around 2-3+ MB/s when downloading (as that is what Stean reports) and it is a consistent rate. For whatever reason the Beamdog client (and only the Beamdog client) fails to maintain a normal download rate. Sometimes it just loses connection altogether.

    I've got the same problem, avgr download speed at 25 KB/s

    The only thing you can do is to make sure that "Use P2P" is enabled. It should be somewhere under options.

    Yeah, I have it enabled and there is no difference. Now it says "Limited connectivity: Unable to receive product updates" in yellow next to my email.

    Mine ran like that until around the 1.9gb mark. Then picked up to approx 1.5mb. Doing a different update on Steam I was getting 8mb so it's most likely related to the stress on the Beamdog servers.
