portraits folder no longer work after update

After the update downloaded via steam today I started the game, but it won't show me any of the portraits.
Just a dialog box to create the folder and place pictures there.
Same issue for both BG 1 & 2.
IWD still works fine

    nm - figured where they went... is there a way to get the old option back?... having 1500 pictures to click through takes along time...
