Can't access area south of High Hedge

in Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition
I just updated to the new version, and for some reason I can't access the area south of High Hedge, where Bassilus and Melinkamp are. No matter from what direction I try to access it, there's just a blank space in the world map where that area should be.

Any thoughts? I want to save Melinkamp!

    I think I read in another thread that the Bassilus and Melicamp map got moved more to the west, and is no longer positioned south of High Hedge. Just keep exploring wilderness maps and you should hit the right one eventually. (I haven't got that far in my own run yet to be able to say for sure where it is.)

    It seems that several locations have been moved from their original positions: gnoll stronghold, the area with Drizzt, Ulcaster's school, Bassilus's map,..... I reported this fact on Redmine, but if @BelgarathMTH is right, then this is not a bug........

    I just found it too. It's southwest of Beregost, such that you would run into it naturally if you were looking for Bjornin's ogres, and, if you had visited the Beregost temple, you would also have and possibly be looking for the Bassilus quest. I think Beamdog's intention was to make the map positions follow the quests more intuitively.

    Excuse me - but are you saying the world map locations have been changed in version 2.0?? :-O

    Apparantly so! The most jarring one was Melicamp/Bassilus location. However, if you just wander around as normal you do find it. I'm not sure if there are other locations that way or not.

    It took me forever to find my way to the Lighthouse to find Safana for my new run. It was maddening
