Stuck in Tutorial - Killed Belt's Servant cannot get past.

Hi there I don't know if this has been talked about before.
But I just started the tutorial and accidently killed Belts servant and when I try to talk to belt it tells me to talk to his servant. :s
I tried reloading to see if he comes back to life but nothing.
I tried sleeping and he just completely dissapears.
I don't want to have to redo my characters as it took a while to choose them and it would be a pain to do em again.
Anyone come across this problem before?

    You can export the created character(s) from your current game and import them into a new one. They'll keep whatever items/stats/whatever they have. Go to the Record screen (R key) for each character and click Export.

    Honestly, I've never done the tutorial in BG1. The prologue in Candlekeep is more than enough of a tutorial. I'd just import them into a new game there.
