Ridiculous Ending

What the hell beamdog? I heard about poor writing in SoD, but the ending was just ridiculous.
Ok, it was cool to see the Jon Irenicus cameo. But then him hi-fiving CHARNAME was way out of character for him. And the dialogue.
"Good job, you really speared a dragon with this siege."
Follow up Hi-five?
And the "sleep" cut scene where he captured CHARNAME. That was the SAME EXACT SCENE from BGII in Spellhold. Plus the fact that the scene happens back in baldurs gate. The whole siege was totally irrelevant to any bridging the gap between BG and BGII
Anyway. This was lazy lazy lazy lazy. One more lazy? Ok, lazy. One node deep dialogue tree for this one was two too much. As soon as this is released for Ipad and I get a chance to play it, I will be asking for my money back.

I have it on the highest authority, that in the upcoming release of Baldur's Gate II : Enhanced Edition-Enhanced, (BGII:EE-E) that SoD is swept under the rug as dream sequence in the fevered mind of Charname while he's trapped in Irenicus' dungeon.
Yeah, that means that charname was dreaming about transgendered NPCs. Its totes obvs that Beamdog is doubling down with their SJW ridiculousness, and saying that it was us, the player, responsible for having, you know, some feelings we might not be comfortable with.
