how is the priest of tyr doing in bg2 and bg2 tob its any better than the other clerics?.

    It's on par with them, or at least it's designed to be. None of the cleric kits are overpowered by design.

    Depends on what you mean by "better". BG has many, many different ways to be played, and for many different reasons. What is "better" there is an entire spectrum.

    Personally, from a strictly mechanical, powergaming-oriented point, I do not see them as "better" than a Priest of Lathander.
