[bug] Xan wont join my party

Not that i want Xan in my party but he wont even consider joining my party. First i taught it has smt to do with my other party members but even when i removed everybody his line is still the same - see picture

    why? i played through 5 times (original) and this never happened to me, i probably had higher lvl/dif. alignment when i met him but that's that

    I thought he was reputation involved. I'm always low rep/evil and he wont join me unless im higher.

    It has to do with NPC reaction, which is determined by two factors:
    1) Your character's Charisma score
    2) Your party's Reputation

    Higher Charisma means better NPC reaction. Higher reputation means better NPC reaction.

    Xan doesn't like you. There are many other NPCs like this as well, although most are less picky; I believe Xan is the pickiest. If you have a really bad reaction Kivan won't join you (he's not quick to judge what with his 8 Charisma, HAH!), and if it's kinda bleh then Viconia won't either. There are a few others.

    oh yes then its because of charisma cuz i have in this gameplay only 7 points in it :P, thanks for the answers

    Hi, I simply made Brawen talk to him and he was able to join :)
