in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition
iirc i played the game before the ee version and there was a place where you could forge this armor.
You needed the bronze, silver and golden pants you could find in the game. But the golden one, was only available if you imported a char from bg1 and had in inventory end used the quick pause at the beginning. But i noticed that in bg2ee you cant use the option or am i mistaking. So is this armor still available or not? and how can you do it?

    The Quick Pause trick was bug-fixed away, but the original way to import the Golden Pantaloons from BG1 to BG2 remains:
    Have the Golden Pantaloons in the inventory of CHARNAME for the BG1 Final Save.
    Start a new game of BG2 by importing the BG1 Final Save.
    Search the secret wall safe in Chateau Irenicus - the Golden Pantaloons will be there.

    It's still available. Talk to a certain gnome in Amkethran.

    Funny thing is, even Monks and Kensai can wear the Big Metal Unit, for ridiculous AC.
