Dorn not saying anything

I am playing BG EE 1 and Dorn has joined my party quite a while ago but has not started any chats with my character. How can I fix this bug?

    After "quite a while" (I don't know exactly how long) he says something like "I would like a word with you" and one of your two reply options allows his quest to start. If he has already asked for "a word" and you replied "Not now Dorn" you will have to wait "a while" longer before he asks again.

    Ok thanks. That's the first thing he says? If so, I will wait a bit more to see if he does!
