Transferring Saves to SOD

in Baldur's Gate: Siege of Dragonspear
I understand that Siege of Dragonspear is a separate download that includes BG:EE. My question is, will I be able to transfer my saves from a separate install of BG:EE to SOD?

    Actually, SOD creates a link to your separate BGEE download during installation. (It does NOT include BGEE implicitly.) So, in short, yes.

    i noticed that SoD essentially replaces BG:EE but is an entire package with both games, and thy share saved games etc etc so yep!
