Level 2 Wizard spell Strength

When casting lvl2 strength, thaco is improved by 1 (or given -1) and strenght is improved to 18/50. But per stat charts shouldn't a strength of 18/50 give a bonus of -3. Is this a bug or only a limitation of the spell.

    According to Playithardcore, 18/50 only gives +1 THAC0 bonus and +3 to damage. 18/00 is where you finally get a +3 to THAC0.

    Ahh good call jumbo, I miss read the chart. I switched around the dmg / thaco when I read it.
    Thanks for the clarification. Only +1 thaco on my blade makes the spell a little less desirable

    Once you've gotten strength items, spells like this mostly become obsolete. That said, try using it on the bad guys to lower their strength to 18/50, that's funny stuff.

    Just gave my new Blade the Girdle of Hill Giant strength, and his combat effectiveness has improved massively!
