Weird Start Up?

in Baldur's Gate: Siege of Dragonspear
So, I finished BG Enhanced & was all set to pick up where that ended with SoD. It installed fine, but I ran into a weird issue.
Whenever I boot up, & resume game play, it keeps taking me to the very end of BG after I kill Sarevok. Just replays the dialogue with Imoen & I can only get to where I left off in *SoD* when I click on options & load again.

What's up with that?

    If you launch Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition, notice the two round logos at the right side below the "Quit Game" button. There you can choose between BGEE and SOD. Once you've selected SOD, the "Continue" button and the "Load Game" option takes you to SOD's separate savegames folder.

    As a side-note, BGEE automatically continues into SOD after defeating Sarevok, provided that SOD is installed already.
