"Important Events (Finished)" since chapter 3 ended?

in Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition
Is that normal, I'm now on chapter 5, just entered baldur's gate and it still says it is finished and gives me only a general go after the iron throne? Is it a bug?

    Did you talk to the head of the flaming fist before entering BG proper? I didn't think he could be avoided.

    I did, but It did not change important events, only aded a new quest... About investigating some group (not the iron throne)

    You're on the right track. There's also TONS of stuff to do in BG.
