Mod-install-order and which Ascension version? (1.3.2064)

in BGII:EE Mods
I have trouble with the installorder of my chosen mods and also find the info here regarding Ascension a bit confusing (BP or Weimer version?)
Still having only v1.3.2064 also worries me as far as compatibility goes... Is it worth paying 20€ for the steam version or is it not that important?
So, here is my for now planned install-order: (nearly what's suggested here https://forums.beamdog.com/discussion/34882/list-of-bg2ee-compatible-mods/p1 )
Awesome Soundsets mod - only a few I like (like most of IWD and PST)
Ascension (BP or Weimer?) -only the basic component for the story, no tougher battles except maybe Illasera
Adalon's Blood
de'Arnise Romance
BanterPacks
iepbanters
Mazzy Friendship
Yoshimo Friendship
Imoen Friendship
Sarevok Friendship
Unfinished Business - most if not all
Almateria's Restoration Project - most if not all
Haer'Dalis Romance
cdttweaks Beta - most components
refinements Beta - not the rogue-related ones of course
Rogue Rebalancing - all but the revised thievery components
SCS - pretty much everything ^_^
Any compatibility issues between these mods I should look out for? Certain components that don't work with this older version of BG2ee?
GoG-version - as far as I know - has some issues with mods, how is the steam version compared to hardcopy? Or should I buy directly from Beamdog?

Read that time and again, though I never understood why... Probably because of how deep 'into the code' it goes?
Anyone else willing to enlighten me and my mods?
1) non-weidu mods
2) story mods
3) NPC mods
4) item mods
5) kit mods
6) BG2Tweaks
7) other tweak/overhaul mods (for example SCALES of BALANCE)
8) SCS
9) aTweaks
There is also a sample list with examples that I always found very helpful, you may wanna check it out.
It skips the rogue parts? So it wouldn't matter whether I skip the parts manually or let it skip by the program???
Now I just have to finish my recent BG1-session xD
Then I will install them all
