stuck at coldhearth level 2

I'm stuck at the 2nd level of the dwarven tomb. I've destroyed the lich's phylactery in the portal, but the barrier that keeps me from leaving is still there. I see that the lich is still sitting around, invisible because whenever I rest I can see it recast spells. I was even able to find it on the map thanks to the stoneskin cast animation. But it doesn't attack, and I can't attack it because it's invisible. How do I move on?
