BGEE on a USB stick

Hey all, I was wondering if there is any way to get the installer to download the game files onto a USB stick. I have a chromebook-style laptop that only has a 32GB SSD, so I just don't have 3GB to install the game. Thanks for any help.

    Be aware that an usb stick has memory cells that can be rewritten only a limited number of times. The same is true also for SSD drives, but the modern ones are optimized and the problem is not noticeable, was only an issue of the early ones. But sticks are not optimized for that, is possible that using them as a substitute of a proper hard disk or SSD will wear them fast, with a progressive reduction of storing capacity as groups of memory cells reach the maximum number of writings.
    An hybrid installation, with "static" game files, that are only read, on the stick drive, and "dinamic" ones, that are also often written, on the SSD would be perfect, but I can not help you in this.
