WeiDu after patch 2.3?

Hi all! Funny how fast I forget these basic modding things.. A couple of questions I haven't been able to find the answers to online,:

1) You still need to install some version of weidu before installing mods in both BG:EE and BG2:EE right? SoD as well?

2) Where do I find the latest version of weidu, does it come with installation instructions?

    1) Mods usually contain a file called "setup-xyz.exe" which is all you need to install them. If a mod doesn't provide it you can simply rename "weidu.exe" into "setup-xyz.exe" (the filename should match the name of the TP2 file of the mod).
If you bought SoD from GOG or Steam you'll have to apply modmerge first before you can install any mods.

    2) http://www.weidu.org/~thebigg/
It's pretty much only needed if the mod doesn't provide a setup-xyz executable or you have to manually update it to the latest version.
