BG2EE installer stuck at 2MB out of 2.5GB

The new beamdog client doesn't work at all (probably because P2P traffic is blocked on my network)

So I'm reinstalling bg2 using the windows legacy client found here: https://www.beamdog.com/about/client_legacy

It's currently installing, download speed is hovering between roughly 450KB/s and 700KB/s yet the download progress isn't updating. It has stayed at 2MB out of 2.5GB for the last 30 minutes.

Is this just a visual bug where the progress isn't updating? Or is it actually not downloading?

    It worked fine when I ran it through a vpn, seems to just be network issues on my end

    There could also be more traffic on their servers due to the upcoming release.
