Using built-in dialog string references to make a Soundset?

Hey all, Xzanah here!

I'm back, after experimenting with modding BGEE for about a year. However, through my experiments, I have always had a single question...

How in heck am I supposed to make a Soundset with built-in string references? I mean, in BG:EE and BGII:EE, Sarevok has an awesome voice (you have to admit it!), and I'd like to put it into the character creation's "Sound Selection" menu in Appearance. I've modified CHARSND.2da, and I can't view the soundset regardless. I need some help. Any assistance will be accredited, I assure you guys.
