in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition
Unless my memory has broken, I seem to recall that if you imprisoned Aran Linvail before going to Spellhold, that Arkanis shows up and kills you. Just been playing around with that right now, and I imprisoned him with no issue - essentially breaking my game haha - Is that intended? I remember the old ways of killing him, ie Int drain with Mindflayer, but I could've sworn Imprisonment should trigger Arkanis.

    You may be able to cast Freedom at the spot you imprisoned him to fix the broken game.

    Ah dont worry @Borek I saved before, but its just something I wondered if people remember. I suppose its kind of rare to have Imprisonment at this point, but as I tend to do all the Optional Quests and WAtchers Keeps etc before leaving for Spell Hold, I had it on my sorcerer

    I would rather Imprison Saemon Havarian than Aran. Just sayin'
