I'm really tired of my settings getting reset

Once on a blue moon, which just makes it more annoying, all of my settings for BGEE get reset to defaults and the console-enabling line disappears from the LUA. I have to change and insert everything again.

    Proximate cause: it sounds very much as if your baldur.lua is somehow being deleted ... in which case, you'd find everything reset when next you start the game (and written to disk as a default baldur.lua when you quit).

    Underlying cause: I don't know.

    Workaround: keep a backup copy of baldur.lua somewhere else, and copy it back to the game directory when you need to restore the settings.

    Surprise: if it's happening only once in a blue moon, then surely it shouldn't be unbearably frustrating.

    Windows 7. The blue moon rose yesterday, and I can't work in its light.
