I slew both demons, but did not get any Steam achievement. Is that working as intended?

Moreover I'd like to know what changed exactly after slaying both demons. Dorn didn't even say thank you!

    If you're referring to his Patron and the female demon, you should be able to trap them in your sword making a +5 sword, +5 vs devils and demons, and Dorn should become fallen and lose ALL his blackguard powers and immunities. Just to be clear, the best mechanical outcome is to stay with Ur'gothuz or whatever his name is, double cross the chick, and enjoy a new helmet. Becoming a fallen Blackguard causes you to miss out on the +5 sword in Watchers Keep.

    I have found Dorn quests to be a tad buggie.

    as far as I can remember none of the bg2 steam achievements are associated with the new NPCs

    Wow! I started this thread 7 months ago. In the meanwhile I already resolved BG2 and "Throne of Bhaal". What an experience! <3
