Is it possible?

For example, say I buy the Zerth blade. Can Cespenar upgrade once I get to ToB?

    There are only very few items that can be upgraded by Cromwell/Cespenar, and none of the special merchant items are included.

    If you want expanded upgrade options, mods can provide. Weimer's ItemUpgrade mod is one popular one, but I'm sure there are others out there. Explore the possibilities!
