Making neural NPCs hostile when using Android tablet

in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition
I am busy doing the Fallen Paladins quest and in this quest are some neutral NPCs I have
to attack so as to help the Paladins. Trying to just attack them doesn't work as they have to
be turned hostile. I am using a tablet so the PC method cannot be done. How can I do this?

    You don't have to attack the hostile NPC's, just let the Paladins attack, once it's over, they'll talk to you. And if the Paladins turn hostile, that's okay. Remember they have fallen from the faith. If NPC's in other areas of the Bridge District are hostile, then reload, as a random NPC might have gotten in the way of the battle.
