Dorn's Weapon Proficiencies

What do you think will be Dorn's canonical weapon proficiency in BG2EE (should it ever be made). That's not to say what proficiency did you give him (I gave him dagger, to stack his poison weapon with the dagger of venom), but what you think beamdog will give him in BG2EE.

    I picked crossbows because at the time I couldn't think of any fighter in BG2 that specialises in them (Jan has proficiency in them of course). Turns out Keldorn does.

    So I'm going to switch my vote out of any kind of ranged weapon and instead to a bastard sword.

    Obviously this will depend on what level he is when you pick him up. If you get him at a high enough level he will have more than one new proficiency.

    Probably Bastard swords.....don't really recall anyone having innate proficiency with them.

    Two-Handed Sword (x2), Two-Handed Weapon (x2), Crossbows at 3rd, Bastard Swords at 6th, and x2 Bastard Swords at 9th.

    I used the G3 Tweaks mod to give Bastard Swords the ability to be one- or two-handed. That way, Dorn can take advantage of his Two-Handed Weapon proficiency bonuses when wielding Kondar, Albruin, or the Sword of Balduran. It would be nice if they implemented it in BG2, but I seriously doubt it.

    Dorn is a paladin so he only can get 2 stars in each profiency. So I think the best would be bastard sword and halberd 'cause no one has stars in these weapons ( I think Sarevok has 1 star in halberds ).
    So I guess Dorn can get both before TOB

    someone's got to have to be good with all the badass bastard swords and if it's not Dorn then who else?

    Only my PC Blackguard gets to use the two-handed swords, dammit!
