Weird problem with Shaman class

I just decided to try out a shaman, because I am considering doing a run through again. The problem is, I can't. I have tried multiple times, and get the same result. The moment I begin the game, it registers my level as zero, and gives me zero of one hit points. I looked in the character record sheet, and it shows I need -1 XP to reach the next level. I am still able to move around and interact with NPCs, but cannot manipulate the inventory. In addition, I cannot go rest, or save and reload the game, because it registers as instant death.

Anyone else experienced this problem?

Update: The problem was the xp cap remover mod I was using. The one I used was... baldursgatemods.com/forums/index.php?topic=7796.0 ,,, and apparently with the update, it screws up the shaman class. All is fine now...just have to go remove the xp cap in a different way.

@stewelement, do you also have an xp cap remover? Might want to check this one out.
