@ramaster would have been even better if a squeak had escaped your trousers after saying that :-)

I literally laughed out loud at that.

I work front desk at a hotel. It requires quite a bit of willpower not to proclaim "My hotel is as clean as an elven arse" to entering customers.

You could settle for "My inn is open to all who behave themselves" would perhaps be slightly more acceptable in a world without elves...

@ibward haha that's the best! I've swore to myself ages ago that if I ever run a tavern, bar, hotel or motel I'm calling it the elven arse.

@Silverstar I cannot tell you how often I do that in other games

It's odd though; I play a lot of different RPGs yet BG/ID are the only ones that have ever programmed me with habits I then try to apply to other games, heh.

    Not always....

I use to play Vanilla World of Warcraft... when raids were 40 people...

You want to give 40 random people on the internet a pause button while fighting a raid boss? Be my guest, heck its hard enough keeping people from taking constant breaks and going AFK without one.

Oh I'd settle for just me having the ability :P

I actually quite miss the 40 man raids. 10 just doesn't make for as interesting chats or fun fights.

Best memories from WoW is from my guilds first 40man Nefarian BWL kill while it was current end game, my god.. i can still hear voice chat exploding..
Unfortunatly i stopped playing a few weeks into Naxx40 and didnt come back before WotLK, and personally i simply can't for the life of me manage to see 10man raids as "proper" raids....
Stopped again abit into Firelands, my god thos dailies.. almost made vanilla gold farming as a holy priest seem like fun >_>

*sigh* maybe i should get back on topic after my rambling... :p

Woke up early today and thought i should cast a time stop and sleep more :(

    True story:

Was riding in the car one night with my parents last year. All of a sudden this BIG dog came out of nowhere and jumped in front of the car (I have this unnatural fear of big loud dogs) Well bark-bark we finally get going again away from the dog. I'm in the middle of a panic-attack and i'm not thinking about anything when I screamed out "I'll kick him in the head till he's dead!"

...MY parents gave me funny looks the rest of the night

Well it gets to this point where you actually start roleplaying consciously in real life. In hindsight I must say it can actually be quite effective. ARE we not all living a role in a big theater?

I don't really remember right now, but boy, I promise you all that if I open a hotel, my motto is going to be "Clean as an elven arse!"... I'll go bankrupt pretty soon though >.<

For me, it was when I started seeing little green circles as I was walking around in real life. Wherever my eyes focussed, there was a green circle... I decided to play the game a bit less per day after that...

Worst thing is, I would probebly get to nerdy to resist that motto :x
Also, you should hire someone named "Winthrop" :E

I remember more than 10 years ago I was arguing with my sister,
and to put end to that I said: "I am the law!!"
    "You are mad..." she replied
She still doesn't know I served the Flaming Fist.

"I am Death come for thee" is a favorite of mine.

Anyway, in periods when I play too much BG I tend to start thinking about people in terms of the different alignments. That is a sure sign.

"I am death, destroyer of worlds!" Sometimes mutter that under my breathe if I am having a slight mad moment.

You know you play too much BG2 when... you have dreams/nightmares about shambling vampires attacking your house, and you just try to hold out logn enough to find the sword that casts sunray which was hidden somewhere. And maybe that helmet too.

You know you played too much BG when after you wake up from a dream at night you try to cast cure light wounds.
