Bugs so far...

1) In Neera's quest, if you rest after the final encounter with Adoy and the Thayans, the door will close and cannot be opened, trapping you inside, if a goblin randomly spawns during your rest. "A magical force stops the door from opening". This is probably caused by the door shutting on a hostile creature entering the area, but only opening after all the Thayans are dead. Therefore, you get permanently stuck inside. Hope you didn't quicksave after the combat.

2) You can't wear a ring of protection with a magic armor or amulet of protection. In AD&D, you can.

3) The Gauntlets of Weapon Expertise don't grant a damage bonus as they claim to.

4) Wild Magic appears buggy with the caster level increase/decrease. I'll get a bonus caster level, but it doesn't make my chromatic orb any better, as it is supposed to.

5) Mousewheel behavior is erratic. On the journal, when you reach the top and bottom of the journal, it bounces wildly around the screen when you mousewheel. Also, you can mousewheel over a merchant's inventory, but not your own. This makes selling things tedious, as the scroll bars are really, really small at 1080p.

6) The UI in general needs to be improved. I know there are mods out there to sharpen the GUI, but I don't want to install mods right now as it might break the patcher. I bought the game because, quote, "Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition features an updated and improved interface that has native support for high resolution and widescreen displays". But the UI looks just blurry and bad on high resolution monitors. So - this is a bug. (Water, also, looks terrible with the screen-door dither on top of it.) A lot of options from BG2 seem to be missing - hotkeys, walking formations, etc.

7) Walking speed seems slower than I remember it, but that could just be from me playing BGTUTU last.

The ring of protection and amulet of protection is a design choice. It's that way in both games.

Hotkey options are in the gameplay options tab, not sure about formations, I'll check in on that.

Also the gauntlets might simply not be showing up in those waste of space new gauges, have you checked to see if they're actually working in practice and it's not simply showing up in the junk?

Walk speeds are STUPIDLY fast in my game...almost 2x faster then BG2...it's probably because the game is running at a higher frame rate then I'm used to (keep my mine on the default 35 for BG1/BG2).

    Default is 30 in bg1/2.
