I didn't think much about the changable color circles under the party initially. But I've come to really like them. I've set one color under my melee folks and another under my ranged. I try to play with as little pausing as possible so it helps me keep clear on who's where.

The circle colours reflect the major clothing colours of the characters.

Modify Baldur.ini by adding the line:

'Game Options', 'Color Circles', '0',
